Tap

My passion for dance started at just the age of 3 when I started dancing at the Dance Connection in North Battleford. I grew up surrounded by dance with my mom as an instructor and several of my cousins being my assistant teachers and according to them I have been making up dances since I could walk! Throughout my years at the Dance Connection I assisted many classes as well as teaching tiny tots and primary classes. I have been trained in several styles of dance including ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, pointe, and hip hop, but tap has always been my favourite. I have completed all of my CDTA tap exams and in the next couple of years I hope to get my teachers and be certified to put kids through exams of their own. Currently, I am pursuing a psychology degree at the U of S as well as having the amazing opportunity to dance with the new company Level Up! I am very grateful for all the skills and joy dancing has brought me and I hope to pass that on to the dancers that I teach!
